I really like the way it came out and I can’t wait to use this set again as it is perfect for so many things that people need prayers for. So join me in the video below and please make sure to stop by Kats Store!
Hi Guys, Mamie here again today with a great project to share with you. With Halloween “creeping” up, I decided to make a card with the “Leaf Wreath” die by Gina Marie that I picked up from the Kat Scrappiness store. I also used their sequins mixes to embellish the wreath. Â Click on the video below to watch how you can turn this beautiful die into something spooktacular. Hey crafty friends, I have some awesome goodies to share with you today. I picked out some things from Kat Scrappiness’s store for this project. To create this card, I used the Newton’s Nook “Hanging Around” stamp set. This stamp set is so fun to play with because all the animals are hanging around! There are so many options you have to create a cute project. So for my card, I decided to use “Newton” and have him hanging on the clothes line from the Lawn Fawn stamp set titled “Little Bundle”.
So, as you can see above, I masked off Newton’s paws and facw so the clothes line would run under his paws. After I stamped the clothes line, I masked the entire image of Newton so I could do some ink blending on the background.
So, I decided to pick some mustard seed and orange marmalade to create a warm colored fall background. I blended the top and bottom of the bristol panel with the yellow and middle portion with the orange. After the ink blending, I spritzed some water on the panel to create this blotchy effect.
I then moved on to the Copic coloring. I then heat embossed in gold the words “Happy Fall” with a scripty font stamp set. I also used my stitched rectangle dies to create the layers for my card.
I used glitter paper for my matting of course. I try to use glitter paper as much as possible, lol. I cut out the sentiment from vellum and embellished the card with Kat’s “Autumn Harvest” sequins. I just love these cute hanging animals and I hope you did too. Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to check out the supplies I used listed below. Happy Fall Ya’ll!

Hi guys! I have a bit of news today. Some Odd Girl has asked me to be a member for the 2016-17 design team! I am so excited and thrilled to be a part of their awesome community as a DTM. So it goes without saying I will be posting many SOG projects this year. If you have never been to the shop, you must go soon. They have some of the most adorable images online in both physical and digital. You will not be disappointed. So without further ado, below is my first video project where I used the stamp set called “Little Loves”. I watercolored the image with my Zig Markers and layered the card with some pattern paper left in my stash. The paper is by American Crafts’, Pink Paisley and it’s titled “Hey Kid”. I also finished it with some wooden embellishments from my local hobby store. Join me and see how you can get a deep saturation of colors with watercolors. Also, don’t forget to hit the subscribe button on my YouTube channel, as this is how I know you like my videos. Wishing you a “little love” today, see you in the next video!
Today I am featuring the “little bundle” stamp set by Lawn Fawn. I used distress inks to blend on the background and used Echo Park’s 6×6 paper pad “bundle of joy” to layer the card.
